William G. Gilbert, Jr. - Partner

Prior to founding The CAPROCK Group, Bill was a partner in The Owyhee Group, a boutique advisory team within Smith Barney. The Owyhee Group served a sophisticated high-net worth clientele, leveraging the partner's expertise in wealth management, alternative investments, and advanced estate planning. Bill graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Idaho, with a B.S. in Finance. Bill currently serves as an Emeritus Director of the University of Idaho Foundation, Chairman of the Stewardship Committee and Director for the St. Luke's Health Foundation, and a member of the Strategic Initiatives Committee for St. Luke's Regional Medical Center. He has previously served on various boards including the Idaho Youth Ranch Foundation, Southwestern Idaho Grants Panel of the Idaho Community Foundation, and the Vandal Scholarship Fund. Bill is also a member of the Idaho Chapter of Entrepreneurs' Organization (EO).
