William G. Gilbert, Jr.- Partner

Prior to founding The CAPROCK Group, Bill was a partner in The Owyhee Group, a boutique advisory team within Smith Barney. The Owyhee Group served a sophisticated high-net worth clientele, leveraging the partner's expertise in wealth management, alternative investments, and advanced estate planning. Bill graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Idaho, with a degree in Finance. Bill currently serves as Immediate Past Chairman of the University of Idaho Foundation, the Vice Chairman of the Idaho Youth Ranch Foundation, and as Vice President of the National Board of Directors for the Vandal Scholarship Fund. Bill is also a member of the Board of Directors for the St. Luke’s Health Foundation, the Strategic Initiatives Committee for St. Luke’s Regional Medical Center, and the Southern Idaho Grants Panel for the Idaho Community Foundation.
