William G. Gilbert, Jr.- Principal

Prior to founding The CAPROCK Group, Bill was a partner in the Owyhee Group, an internal, boutique advisory team within Smith Barney. The Owyhee Group catered to sophisticated high-net worth clientele, leveraging the partners' expertise in advanced estate planning and wealth management. Bill graduated Summa Cum Laude from The University of Idaho, with a degree in Finance. Bill currently serves as Chairman of The University of Idaho Foundation and as a member of the National Board of Directors for the Vandal Scholarship Fund. Bill is also a member of the Southern Idaho Grants Panel for the Idaho Community Foundation.
